Japanese Settlement: The area to the south of the Dutch Settlement at Ayutthaya is believed to be the site of the Japanese Settlement. Although nothing remains of the village, a garden has been developed as a memorial to the Japanese presence. Apart from the garden, there is a commemorative plaque and two souvenir shops; the boat landing is unusable. |
